Laritta Paolini, Physician-Immunologist (Russia), MBA, M.Ac., L.Ac., Dipl.Ac. (NCCAOM), Adjunct Faculty (MUIH)
Laritta Paolini is a National Board Certified Acupuncturist (NCCAOM) licensed to practice in Virginia. She has a Medical Doctor/Biophysicist degree from the Russian State Medical University and Masters Degree in Acupuncture from the Maryland University of Integrative Health (former Tai Sophia Institute). She specializes in immunological disorders, allergies, asthma as well as support for cancer treatment, mental health and infertility. She is fluent in the English, Russian, and Kyrgyz languages. She is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.
Currently Laritta Paolini practices Acupuncture out of her Vienna, VA office. In addition to her Acupuncture practice, she is an instructor in the Biosciences Department at the Maryland University of Integrative Health (former Tai Sophia Institute) and a former Senior Research Associate at the International Center for Interdisciplinary Studies of Immunology, Georgetown University Medical Center.
Min Sun Chung
Min Sun Chung, BSN, RN, M.OM., L.Ac., Dipl.Ac (NCCAOM)
Min is a National Board Certified (NCCAOM) Acupuncturist licensed in VA, MD and DC.
After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at George Mason University, she began her professional Health Care Practitioner journey as a Registered Nurse (RN) in an Intensive Care Unit. She furthered her studies to incorporate the approach of preventive and holistic care by earning Master's degrees in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH), formerly known as Tai Sophia Institute for Healing Arts.
Min has served as a clinician for American Health Care Professionals of VA. She is certified as a NADA (National Acupuncture Detoxification Association) specialist, a Zero Balancing practitioner and Usui and Karuna Reiki practitioner. Her background and knowledge in both Western and Eastern medicine allow her to focus on promoting balance and ease with individualized attention during her treatment sessions. She is dedicated to supporting a person's healing process, which can alleviate physical, mental, and emotional symptoms.
